CaseWorks Digital provides downloadable investigation templates, case management worksheets, research documentation tools, and related digital resources designed to assist with organizing, documenting, and managing investigative information.

2. Digital Products and Delivery
All products sold through CaseWorks Digital are digital unless expressly stated otherwise.
Following successful payment, purchased products are delivered electronically through a download link, email, or another method identified during checkout.
No physical products are shipped.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have compatible software and devices to access purchased files. Product descriptions identify the formats and contents of individual products.

3. License and Permitted Use
Unless a product description expressly provides otherwise, purchasing a CaseWorks Digital product grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use that product for their own lawful personal, educational, or internal professional purposes.
Under this license, purchasers may:
- Download and save purchased files.
- Edit and customize templates for their own authorized work.
- Use templates across multiple investigations or projects.
- Print completed documents for legitimate personal or professional purposes.
- Share completed case-specific documents with authorized colleagues, clients, or agencies as reasonably necessary for the underlying work.
Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of the underlying template designs, original content, or intellectual property.
4. Prohibited Uses
Unless CaseWorks Digital provides prior written permission, purchasers may not:
- Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially distribute the original templates.
- Upload original or substantially unmodified templates to marketplaces, file-sharing platforms, or public download repositories.
- Repackage CaseWorks Digital products under another brand.
- Claim authorship or ownership of CaseWorks Digital’s original template designs.
- Share purchased template files with unrelated individuals or organizations as substitutes for separate purchases.
- Remove proprietary notices from original templates for the purpose of redistribution.
- Use our products for unlawful activities.
These restrictions do not prevent the lawful sharing of completed, case-specific documents created using purchased templates.
5. Intellectual Property
Original website content, product designs, documentation, graphics, branding, and downloadable resources created by CaseWorks Digital are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
All rights not expressly granted under these Terms are reserved.
Customers retain ownership of the original investigative information, notes, and other materials they enter into purchased templates.
CaseWorks Digital does not claim ownership of customer-generated case records.
6. Product Descriptions and Compatibility
We strive to describe our products accurately, including their features, file formats, and intended uses.
Customers should review the product description, screenshots, compatibility information, and any disclosed limitations before purchasing.
Products may require third-party applications, such as spreadsheet or word-processing software. Unless expressly stated, purchases do not include licenses to third-party software.
Features or products described as being in development are not included in a purchase unless explicitly identified as included at the time of sale.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
Because CaseWorks Digital sells electronically delivered products, purchases are generally final once digital files have been accessed or downloaded, except where refunds are required by applicable law.
We review requests involving defective files, inaccessible downloads, accidental duplicate purchases, or products that materially differ from their descriptions.

CaseWorks Digital does not independently verify customer-entered information.
9. Investigative and Professional Use Disclaimer
CaseWorks Digital products are organizational and documentation resources.
They do not constitute legal advice, investigative certification, professional accreditation, or a guarantee of compliance with any particular law, regulation, evidentiary standard, or organizational policy.
Use of our products does not replace professional judgment, supervisory review, legal counsel, or required investigative procedures.
CaseWorks Digital does not guarantee investigative outcomes, evidentiary admissibility, successful case resolution, or acceptance of documents by any agency, court, or employer.

Unless a particular product expressly provides hosted storage or another data service, CaseWorks Digital does not host or manage customer case records merely because a customer purchases and uses a downloadable template.
Customers should not assume that downloaded files provide encryption, access controls, audit logging, or regulatory compliance unless those features are expressly documented.

11. Payments and Pricing
Prices are displayed on our website and may change without notice.
Payment must be successfully processed before digital products are delivered.
